Seller Central accounts can also make offers for amazon Prime. Although the offers work differently for other Prime sellers you still can put yourself on a waitlist if the Prime badge application is closed. You can also participate in Fulfillment By amazon (FBA) program, and this will allow you ti9 sell on Amazon Prime as well.

The E-commerce space is predicted to account for 17% of all U.S. retail sales by 2022. This is go-time for those of us who plan on selling on Amazon. The aspects of online retail such as digital marketing, optimizing for mobile, business automation, and establishing a brand are just a click away with Amazon as your business partner.

We must remember that Amazon Central Seller accounts are steeped in some particulars. How we set up these accounts to sell on Amazon is crucial to our success and how helpful Amazon can be in supporting your business needs as we move forward. Here, we will cover in detail some vital points to keep in mind as your set up your account. How to open your account to be accepted and not be denied as a seller, and what cost your will incur for doing business as an Amazon seller. I am a bit excited so forgive me if I miss something important. The gist is to follow these instructions and stay in close contact with Amazon if there is a hitch in the Gettie up (Ask your Amazon representative if you don't understand any particular points). A great source for information is Amazon University newsletter, Feedvisor.com. That said, let's get started on setting up our account information.

Avoid Duplicate accounts: Enter the account information that can be easily verified and make sure you do not have a previous seller contract on file with Amazon, duplicate accounts will be denied.

You will not leave the company you are signing on to except for being the sole of the entity.

1. Have access to a credit card for the $39.99 monthly fee Amazon charges. Amazon recommends a credit card; they may decline a debit card.

2. Make sure to provide utility bill or a credit card bill for verification purposes.

3. You must not be a part of an Amazon agency.

4. Never let an agency create your Seller Central account. Add them as a sub-user for later.

5. After the appropriate information is verified to submit to Amazon got to: www.sellercentral.amazon.com and click to sign up.

Put the information for the business entity you want to be taxed for and if you have not formed your LLC or business entity yet, you can enter your personal tax ID or E.I.N. and change it later. Make sure you use a business address and do not use a P.O. box or virtual mailbox.

Seller central Dashboard: Do I need to explain this dashboard thingy? This is what you as a marketer will become familiar with on websites and different affiliate marketing sites. We are still into the digital marketing space and no doubt will have to subject our thoughts accordingly. The Amazon seller's dashboard is where you will land after you login to your account. The tabs along the top will illustrate:

The number of marketplaces you are enrolled in, how many open orders you have including both your seller fulfilled and FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) orders as well as total sales. FBA is a service provided by Amazon that provides storage, packaging, and shipping assistance to sellers. This service allows sellers to ship their merchandise to an Amazon fulfillment center, where items are store in warehouses until they are sold.

Buyer messages: Amazon wishes that you try and answer these messages within 24 hours, check messages a least every 12 hours and by getting notifications through the settings tab, in the top right-hand corner of the dashboard.

It is important to note Feedvisor, an Amazon's next-gen optimization platform newsletter, states that " Amazon sellers can only compete for the Buy Box if they have a Professional Seller account and are "Buy Box-eligible" which is a status awarded to experienced sellers who have spent time selling on the Amazon platform and possess high levels of performance."

Total Balance: This tells you your disbursement will be at the next disbursement date.

IPI Score: Inventory Performance Index is the number that gives Amazon some insights as to how you are doing. Aim for a 700 and all will be well with your seller's account.

Seller Central Widgets

The homepage offers several different widgets designed to help Amazon's sellers. Widgets will display information pertaining to the sellers' webstore. Widgets maybe moved or deleted altogether according to preference. Check the news widget on a regular basis, important announcements are made there.

Your Orders: This widget. which may be found on the left side of the website, delivers similar data to the Orders tab. When sellers access the Seller central page, it is immediately visible.

Headlines: This widget in the page's middle gives sellers a spot to look for news updates and any alterations made to seller central. It is recommended that sellers frequently check this widget to be informed about the newest features, updates, and news affecting amazon sellers.

Performance: Using this widget, which functions similarly to the corresponding tab on the navigation bar, sellers may instantly evaluate the status of their account as well as any fresh customer comments.
